When in their resting position the ultra-thin device measures only 1U (1.75″) or 2U (3.5″) in height and installs easily into industry standard 19″ rack cabinets.

Sunlight Readable, Weather Proof LCDs

The Stealth’s marine/all weather LCD products are environmentally sealed to NEMA 4/IP65 specifications providing maximum protection from dirty, wet and hostile operating environments.

The high brightness LCDs are ideal for use in direct sunlight or high ambient light conditions. Front controls include, brightness adjustment up to 1000 nits, picture-in-picture, night mode, video inputs, contrast etc. All Stealth monitors are available with touch screen capability or anti-glare glass for maximum protection.

The Stealth marine grade LCD monitors operate from DC Input voltages of 9 -36VDC. Typical applications would be for marine, avionics, industrial, military, security, kiosks, vehicles or outdoor displays.

One of the most common questions we receive with regards to touchscreens is which technology is best? Well it really depends on the application so here is the skinny on the main touch technologies available from Stealth Computer.

The four most common touch screen technologies include resistive, infrared, capacitive and SAW (surface acoustic wave). Each technology offers its own unique advantages and disadvantages. Resistive and capacitive touch screen technologies are the most popular for industrial applications. They are both very reliable. If the application requires that operators can wear gloves when using the touch screen, then we generally recommend the resistive technology (capacitive doesn’t support). Otherwise the capacitive technology (better optical characteristics) is more often recommended.
